Hyannis Inn

I found this place last minute. It was a good price for one night. Donna who works at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. They have a text feature to communicate with the front desk prior to arrival in case you need any last minute amenities and ETA I really appreciated that. The pool (indoor, heated)was amazing, super clean and pretty deep for a hotel/motel pool. The pools lounge area was so upscale and welcoming. The only downside to the pool is that if you stay off season and there are no rooms connected to the pool area think twice about going as we had to run wet outside to our room in the cold.

Not the best off season choice. The floors were like ice. The bathroom does not get warm. The shower is fine. The staff was nice but didn’t come around to freshen up the room. You need a trash bag for fresh linen but no one said anything. They don’t speak English. The bathroom had mold and the mirror looked contaminated. There was no changing room for the indoor pool, and it was segregated from the living quarters. The room mini fridge needed to be cleaned. The desk chair had no support on the seat. There were only 2 tissue in the box and no spare. The office shuts down at 5pm, and so does the pool. The location is ok, but it’s geared for summer. Most of the shops are closed for the season. Felt safe, but homeless smokers lurking about

If you don't mind teenagers and obnoxious adults being extremely loud until all hours of the morning (3am) then this is this place for you! Unbelievable how oblivious people are to other guests actually wanting to sleep. Walls are paper thin. It's too bad because the wife and I were looking forward to a quiet getaway. Would've been nice if the staff reminded people how to act during quiet hours.

Overall, the hotel is fairly dated. Some efforts have been made to make the place a bit more appealing, but it's clear thr proprietors are relying on the stellar location to earn for them. The room wasn't particularly clean, which was odd considering the stong smell of cleaning agents in the room when we walked in. There was sand on the floors, used bars of soap in the shower, and trash in the trash can. There are venetian blinds in the windows, along with some translucent shades. Even used together, they were no match for the bright lights on the buildings exterior and the room is uncomfortably bright at night as a result. As another reviewer indicated, the walls (and floors) are fairly thin. One of the guests upstairs has been up all night (it's 3:15AM now) and as such, so am I. I'd love to have spoken with someone at the desk about this, but the office is closed until morning. Finally, the beds are wildly underwhelming. I don't have any chiropractic concerns, nor do I sleep on a particularly special mattress at home. These things are just uncomfortable.

Stayed here July 3-5 2022 with my mother and boyfriend and it was amazing. Staff is friendly, clean rooms and clean heated indoor pool. Deb at the front desk was awesome, super friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived very early and they already had our room ready. We noticed they periodically maintain the pool and the owners were visually happy that we were enjoying our time. The Inn is located in a perfect area with lots of bars, restaurants and shops around. Everyone is just very nice, always welcoming and greeting you as you pass by. Can’t wait to go back, already planning our next trip. I recommend 100%
